Meet Jeffrey

Dr. Jeffrey Ashurst is a physical therapist located in Birmingham, Alabama, specializing in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and other interventions.

After attending Samford University for his undergraduate degree, he received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Alabama-Birmingham in 2017.

He also received his Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) certification through the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments, giving him extensive knowledge in hands-on treatment options for patients.

Jeffrey has previously served as an adjunct professor for Samford University’s Kinesiology department, along with being a clinical instructor for various physical therapy students from around the country.

He resides in Homewood, Alabama with his wife, two daughters, and large goldendoodle. Jeffrey has a passion to provide top-notch care to anyone looking to stay active, maintain functional fitness, and thrive in daily life.

Dr. Cara Reedy is a pelvic floor physical therapist located in Birmingham, AL with a passion for helping people move confidently through all stages of life. She enjoys working with pregnant and postpartum athletes who want to continue exercising, training, and playing the sports they love—safely and without fear. She also works with individuals of all backgrounds experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction, including pain, leakage, prolapse symptoms, or core and pelvic instability.

Cara earned her undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Samford University.
